ABOUT

Markus Friemann has been working in advertisement and design since 1995.
After a permanent position at heye group he joined the Munich-based studio Die Artillerie in 1999. Influenced by the highly talented resident illustrators, character designers and concept artists
("Wicki","Animals united") he returned to illustration in order to complement his conceptional
and graphic work.
In 2005, he attended Sony Ericsson for 4 years, freelancing as a permanent senior art director at Agenturgruppe Serviceplan.
To date he is still based at Die Artillerie, working for advertising agencies (BBDO, Heye, McCann, Publicis, Serviceplan, TBWA, Wächter,...) , film- and publishing companies as well as his own clients.
Markus cooperates with a reliable network of copywrighters, programmers, production managers,
print service companies, directors and film production enterprises. And - of course - with the renowned
illustrators from Die Artillerie.
